The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone, Jorge Ramos, met this morning with the mayor of El Puerto de Santa María, Enrique Moresco, in the Portuense Town Hall to request the construction license for the logistics warehouse that the Consortium will build in the Las Salinas Commercial Park in El Puerto de Santa María.
Ramos presented the project to the mayor and explained the construction details of the new building that will respond to a need for logistics facilities in this Commercial Park. Having the license will make it possible to begin the bidding process for the work.
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone will build this logistics warehouse on a plot of about 6,000 m² located in the Las Salinas Commercial Park, very close to the warehouse that the Cádiz Consortium also built a few years ago and where the Heineken company has its facilities.
This facility, which will have a surface area of 2,046 m² and has funds from Reindus, will involve an investment of 1.2 million euros and will generate a type of facility dedicated to logistics activity that currently does not exist in the commercial park that the Free Trade Zone has in the municipality of Porto.
The new warehouse, with construction characteristics in the line of quality that the Consortium is accustomed to, will have an attached office building with an area of 511 m². It will also have a loading area, loading docks and a cold room and will be offered in competition.
The Las Salinas Commercial Park is currently one of the best areas of economic and commercial activity, with great demand from companies and with an important range of added services. The Free Trade Zone has one of its business centers located there and the Las Salinas Building serves a good number of companies located there.
