Zona Franca begins a program of guided tours of its facilities

The Cádiz Free Zone has launched a program of guided tours of its facilities in order to make the Institution known to Cádiz society and share the activity and projects it is carrying out, as well as the change of image and strategy promoted by the new State Delegate, Jorge Ramos.
These open days are aimed at all types of social and cultural entities, educational centers, neighborhood associations, professional associations, etc., and will show the citizens of Cádiz what the Fiscal Precinct currently is, configured in the 50s of the last century with land reclaimed from the sea and how it has been converted into a modern business enclave that currently comprises modern office buildings and warehouses dedicated to various activities.
Citizens will be able to tour the main companies in the Free Trade Zone, see how the Consortium has adapted to the new times and works towards a primary objective: to promote business activity and serve as support for the creation of new companies in order to contribute to job creation. The 93 companies located in the Campus today provide direct employment to 2,800 people, to which are added another 3,800 indirect jobs related to their daily activity.
The Free Trade Zone of Cádiz is the faithful reflection of the union between experience and modernity. Its more than 80 years of history are closely linked to the history of the city of Cádiz and have made the Cádiz Institution the economic and commercial benchmark of the province. In recent months, the State Delegate, Jorge Ramos, has turned the entity around by giving a new look not only to the management but also to the image, expanding the activity with new ideas and lines of business, paying special attention to promoting entrepreneurial projects and facilitating their beginnings by offering quality facilities in our new business centers, something in which the Cádiz Consortium wants to involve the citizens.
