Jorge Ramos attends the conference of the Secretary of State for Commerce: “The Spain brand and the Ibero-American market”

The Special Delegate of the State in the Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium, Jorge Ramos Aznar, attended last Thursday afternoon the conference given by the Secretary of State for Commerce, Jaime García-Legaz Ponce, under the title "The Spain brand and the Ibero-American market."
Within the framework of the celebration in Cádiz of the Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government, this event, organized by La Razón and sponsored by Zona Franca and the Provincial Council, was attended by numerous Andalusian businessmen, representatives of the Chambers of Commerce of Andalusia, a large representation of institutional positions in the province of Cádiz such as the mayor of the city, Teófila Martínez and the president of the Provincial Council, José Loaiza, and mayors and councilors of different municipalities in the province.
García-Legaz drew a current photograph of Spain's commercial relations and its most immediate future prospects, especially focused on Ibero-American countries. In an intervention supported by reliable data and positioning, the government official presented a Spain brand that was much more solid than the vision that, especially abroad, people have of it. In this sense, he highlighted the benefits of leading Spanish companies in sectors such as textiles, finance, renewable energy, shipbuilding, or the agri-food sector.
The Secretary of State argued that the country will emerge from this crisis very strengthened and pointed to 2014 as the date from which Spain will grow thanks to the foreign sector.
The colloquium meeting, held in the Royal Hall of the Provincial Council, was presented by Francisco Reyero, delegate of La Razón in Andalusia and closed by the president of the Provincial Council, José Loaiza.
