The Free Trade Zone and the Vejer City Council sign an agreement for the construction of a Business Building

The State delegate in the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, Jorge Ramos, and the mayor of Vejer, José Ortiz, have signed a framework agreement by which both institutions agree to collaborate for the development of different projects, including the construction of a Business Building and an underground parking lot.

In the line of work initiated by the delegate of the Free Zone that gives priority to the creation of new spaces in the province for the implementation of new companies and support for entrepreneurs, this agreement will materialize in an administrative and commercial building in clear support of the entrepreneurs of the municipality, where they will have offices to carry out their activity.
In the same building, the construction of a hospitality school is contemplated, fulfilling the municipal government's commitments to support training and employment.

The action will be completed with the development of a parking space project in the municipality, with the aim of making the center of the town more accessible to citizens from more remote neighborhoods as well as visitors, beginning the procedures for the construction of a parking lot in the Los Remedios area.

In the words of the Mayor, José Ortiz, it is an important day for our town, since with the signing of this collaboration agreement, Zona Franca will invest for the first time in Vejer, with the construction of a series of long-awaited and very necessary infrastructures for our town, which also has an objective, job creation and socioeconomic development, clear objectives of the Vejer City Council.

For his part, the Special Delegate of the Free Trade Zone, Jorge Ramos, expressed his commitment to the province and the municipality of Vejer, placing special emphasis on the constant work of the Mayor, José Ortiz to enable this Free Trade Zone investment in Vejer, by betting on projects that are part of the Consortium's objective.
The Cádiz Consortium has extensive experience in the promotion and operation of car parks and has already built four spaces of this type in the capital.

The construction of this new Business Building in Vejer will be added to the network of business centers that the Free Zone has operating throughout the province and to those that will be developed in the coming months in other municipalities such as Chiclana or Arcos.
Once this collaboration agreement is fully approved and signed, the urban planning procedures will begin for the subsequent signing of two specific agreements where all the details and design of the projects will be reflected.
