The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, visited Arcos de la Frontera yesterday where he held a meeting with the mayor of the municipality, José Luis Núñez, to resume the commitment to collaboration that the Consortium contracted with the City Council some years ago and that to date has not been carried out. During the meeting, in which the senator for Cádiz, Sebastián Ruiz, also participated; the delegate of Urban Planning, Manuel Erdozain and the delegate of Economic Development, Mª Elena Miras Quero, raised as a priority issue the recovery of the old commitment with Arcos, which contemplates the construction of an intelligent building, a Business Incubator that provides shelter to all entrepreneurs in the area who want to settle there.
Jorge Ramos was clear and forceful and after finishing the meeting he announced that he assumes the commitment and will enforce the agreement that contemplates the construction of the “Business Hotel.”” at the service of energizing the entrepreneurs of Arcos and the Sierra. For this reason, he stated that within a period of two months the City Council will have the building project on the table and subsequently an execution agreement will be signed that will surely allow work to begin in the first or second quarter of next year.
"We are going to get to work and in 2013 we will be in a position to begin the project, the works will be what will mark the start-up of the building," with these words the delegate explained that this will be a Business Center like those that already exist in many parts of the province, launched by the Free Zone Consortium, which are nothing more than business spaces for entrepreneurs and companies, with more than reasonable rents, equipped with all the new technologies, and with a significant reduction in expenses for business owners since they share everything from telephone operators to meeting rooms.
In this sense, the delegate stated that in these business centers an entrepreneur can have his company set up in less than 24 hours since they are delivered perfectly equipped.
In relation to the investment, Ramos pointed out that until the project is completed it is difficult to calculate it, but that it will never be less than three million euros; In this sense, what was made clear is that 70% will be financed with European ERDF funds, already allocated until 2013, and the remaining 30% will be funds from the Free Zone Consortium.
With all this data, all attendees showed total satisfaction with the boost that this initiative can bring to employment, business owners and entrepreneurs.
