The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone, Jorge Ramos, participated in the opening ceremony of the XXXVII General Assembly of the State Coordinator of Port Stevedores, which is being held this year in Cádiz on the occasion of the Bicentennial of the Constitution of 1812.
Jorge Ramos, who highlighted the close relationship of the Free Zone with maritime activities since its creation, shared the presidential table with the president of the Port Authority of the Bay of Cádiz, Rafael Barra, and the councilor of the Cádiz City Council, Juan José Ortiz, and were accompanied by the general coordinator of the stevedores, Antolín Goya, and by the director of the organizing commission, Julio Jiménez. All of them analyzed the current situation of the sector and the consequences of the crisis.
The setting chosen for the annual assembly, which brought together more than 190 representatives of stevedores from all the ports of Spain, was the Heracles Building in the Free Trade Zone.
