The Chamber of Commerce and the Cádiz Free Zone Consortium have signed an agreement this morning to collaborate in promoting a Business Creation and Consolidation program of the INCYDE Foundation (Camera Institute of Business Creation and Development) of the chambers of commerce. The objective of this program is to support entrepreneurs and businessmen, through training and personalized advice, both in their business project and in the consolidation of their business activity.
The president of the Chamber of Commerce, Carlos Fenoy, explained that this is an initiative that will benefit a maximum of twenty-five participants, who will receive, for two months, personalized training and tutoring given by experts from the INCYDE Foundation. In total there will be 293 hours structured in generic training sessions and, more than eighty percent, in consultancies in all areas of business management (marketing, taxation, management…) that will allow us to provide specific training tailored to each business project.
Along with serving entrepreneurs with a viable business idea, Fenoy wanted to highlight that this initiative will provide support to entrepreneurs seeking to consolidate their activity, improve their profitability or seek new avenues for expansion. He also pointed out the success that these INCYDE programs have achieved over the last ten years through the cameral network. “We are convinced that we are going to contribute to the creation of new companies and the consolidation of the business fabric in the region,” said Fenoy.
For his part, the special delegate of the State in the Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium, Jorge Ramos, expressed his satisfaction with this agreement that will co-finance an initiative aimed at supporting businessmen and entrepreneurs in the region. Along with the co-financing, the delegate also made the Consortium's management team available to the program to collaborate in the training process of the participants.
Finally, Ramos announced that the construction of the new Free Trade Zone building planned in Algeciras will provide a new opportunity for both entities to advance new collaboration agreements for the business development of the region.
Finally, the mayor of Algeciras, José Ignacio Landaluce, who was present at the signing ceremony, expressed his satisfaction that initiatives of these characteristics are being launched in the region. “We must value these actions that, in these times, represent a commitment for the business world and for the generation of employment,” said Landaluce.
Business Creation and Consolidation Program
This initiative will be financed by the European Social Fund at eighty percent and by the Cádiz Free Trade Zone at twenty percent. It is expected that the selection of participants in the program will begin in the near future so that, after the summer, its development will begin.
This new project complements the catalog of support services that the Chamber makes available to entrepreneurs and companies in the region.
