The Free Trade Zone delegate inaugurates the SDA delegation in the La Menacha industrial estate, Algeciras

The State delegate in the Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium, Jorge Ramos, inaugurated yesterday Thursday in the La Menacha industrial estate in Algeciras the facilities of Documentary Services of Andalusia, a company belonging to Business Developments Free Zone of Cádiz and dedicated to storage , preservation and management of files. The Algeciras facilities have capacity for 50,000 containers with an area of ​​1,200 square meters and 250 square meters of offices. With the opening of these facilities in Algeciras and the existing ones in Seville, Servicios Documentales de Andalucía, which was born in Cádiz in 1998, is consolidating itself as a line of activity that guarantees its clients that their documents are guarded and organized in perfect conditions. security and confidentiality, enjoying quick and reliable access to them.

The event was attended by the second deputy mayor and Treasury delegate of the Algeciras City Council, Luis Ángel Fernández; with the Urban Planning delegate and president of the Commonwealth of Municipalities of Campo de Gibraltar, Diego González de la Torre; with the Civil Protection delegate, Francisco Javier Rodríguez Ros. Likewise, the mayor of Tarifa, Juan Andrés Gil and a large representation of the Campo de Gibraltar business community attended.

The Free Trade Zone delegate congratulated himself on the project and expressed his conviction that the new facilities of Documentary Services of Andalusia in Algeciras will satisfy the demand of companies and organizations in the area, covering their need for custody and archiving of documentation. optimizing spaces.

Ramos took advantage of his presence in Algeciras to take stock of the actions of the Free Zone in Campo de Gibraltar in recent years, a balance that he described as very productive with a total investment of 57 million euros, while at the same time he committed to strengthening this presence even more, consolidating and streamlining the initiatives already underway and promoting the development of new projects in the region.

The delegate to the Consortium announced that in a few days the Free Trade Zone will present the project for the new services building to the Algeciras City Council (together with the Chamber of Commerce), so the works will be put out to tender this year. Likewise, he stressed that the fiscal institution is going to expedite the procedures for the development of the Los Pastores industrial estate, which will affect an estimated area of ​​500,000 meters.
