The state delegate in the Cádiz Free Zone, Jorge Ramos, and the general director, Félix Taboada, have received the mayor of Rota, Eva Corrales, and the first deputy mayor, Lorenzo Sánchez, in a visit that has focused on propose the collaboration of the Consortium in the development of the pindustrial and commercial oligogon RI1 from the Rota town (Villa de Rota Business Park).
Specifically, the Free Trade Zone would carry out the construction of 28 nest warehouses intended for small and medium-sized businessmen and merchants in the town, in need of facilities where they can launch their activities, expand them or diversify them, a fact that is increased by the consequent impact economic that will entail the expansion of use of the Rota Base, due to its inclusion in the NATO anti-missile shield.
The project, in the study phase and with an investment close to 3 million euros, contemplates an action on 7,000 square meters, with a surface area per warehouse of approximately 250 square meters.
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium has thus responded to the demand raised by the City Council, assuming its dynamic role in the industrial and business fabric of the province. Both institutions have established a work schedule in which the formalization of a collaboration agreement is planned in which the action is included and allows its execution to proceed within a reasonable period of time.
